Guinaw-Rails : Un vendeur de crevettes interpellé avec deux boules de haschichA
Officers from the Guinaw-Rails district police station's criminal investigation unit arrested a man for offering and distributing synthetic drugs. The operation took place around 2 p.m. in Guinaw-Rails South, near the footbridge leading to the APIX school.
According to information from the police report, officers returning from patrol noticed an individual who appeared to be exhibiting suspicious behavior. After being stopped for a check and then subjected to a pat-down, the man was found to be in possession of two balls of hashish. He is Kh. Mbath, who claims to be a shrimp vendor residing in Pikine-Icotaf.
During his brief interrogation, he reportedly stated that he had bought the drugs at Thiaroye beach for 5,000 CFA francs from an individual he said he had met by chance.
He was taken into custody for questioning. The seized product was placed under seal. The public prosecutor was informed of the case.
