KOLDA: Un enseignant envoyé en prison pour l'assassinat de son épouse
Alphousseyni Baldé has been remanded in custody by the Kolda High Court. The Arabic language teacher is being prosecuted for the murder of his first wife in the village of Sangharé Coly.
The first suspect in the investigation into the death of Fatoumata Baldé, this teacher at the Saré Colly Sallé elementary school, in the department of Vélingara, was arrested following the physical description made by his own daughter who shared the room with the victim at the time of the events.
Despite the darkness tinged by a few bright corners of the house, the daughter provided a physical description of her mother's alleged murderer. This description led to the teacher's arrest after a few hours of meticulous investigation.
Aphousseyni Baldé is currently in prison pending further developments in the case.
