« Nous ne cherchons pas à faire du nombre » : Mamico lance son GIE et fixe les règles pour 260 femmes entrepreneures
The Mamico Young Women Entrepreneurs Group has officially launched its activities. With a network of 260 women entrepreneurs, the group aims to propel, structure and promote women's entrepreneurship.
To overcome the economic barriers that hold women back, the GIE is focusing on five strategic levers: academic and managerial training, financial and tax expertise, networking, commercial deployment through fairs and events, and active sisterhood.
"We are not looking to increase numbers."
In her opening speech, the president of the GIE, Mariama Kébé, known as "Mamico", reiterated the group's vision: "Our GIE was born from a simple conviction: when women come together, support each other and work together, they can create real opportunities and build their future."
She also emphasized the high standards for recruitment: "We don't just accept members to increase our numbers. We prioritize women who have an existing business or a genuine project, a desire to work, availability, and above all, a team spirit."
In closing, Mamico reaffirmed his commitment to making the GIE a space of support, solidarity, and opportunity: "Our success will not be that of one person alone. It will be the success of all."
