PF2E: The 4 formal demands of the group of 32 dismissed employees to the authorities

The group of 32 dismissed employees of the School-Business Training Program (PF2E) has expressed its disappointment with the direction their reinstatement case is taking. In a statement seen by Seneweb, they declared that their situation "cannot be resolved by simple compensation" or by a proposal that does not fully consider their backgrounds, experiences, and contributions to the PF2E.

Indeed, the group says it was received on July 10, 2026 by Idrissa Samb, Minister in charge of Employment and Vocational and Technical Training, who expressed his desire to find a definitive solution to the situation.

"These words had sparked genuine hope among the 32 affected employees and their families. They had reinforced our decision to prioritize dialogue, patience, and trust in the institutions. However, at the second hearing, held on September 17, 2026, the proposals presented focused mainly on the payment of derisory compensation and on possible recruitment under the status of temporary worker," the group lamented.

Its members, who say they respect the efforts undertaken by the minister, specify, however, that his proposals do not meet their main demand: "We are not asking for a temporary solution. We are asking that the possibility of our return to the scheme be seriously examined, taking into account our seniority, our responsibilities, our experience and our contribution to the PF2E," they say.

Furthermore, the Collective has made four formal demands to the authorities. These are: the reinstatement of the 32 employees in accordance with their contractual status, seniority, experience, and rights; the effective consideration of the steps taken with the Directorate of Labor and the Labor Inspectorate, and of the report of non-conciliation; a thorough examination of their situation in light of the guidelines announced by the Government; and the opening of a genuine dialogue.
