Rufisque : un plâtrier de 22 ans meurt noyé à la plage de « Bata »
On Monday, September 28, 2026, at around 12 p.m., the Rufisque-Est district police station was informed of a drowning case that occurred at the beach of "Bata".
The on-site transport carried out by the investigators made it possible to identify the victim: it is Mr. Ka, aged 22, a plasterer by profession, who resided in Gouye Mouride during his lifetime.
The victim was formally identified by her parents and relatives, who were present at the scene. The body was then transported by firefighters to the Youssou Mbargane Hospital in Rufisque for an autopsy.
An investigation has been launched to determine the exact circumstances of this tragedy.
