The mason A. Sarr and the motorcycle driver Jakarta BM Ndiaye appeared before the Thiès court of flagrant offenses to answer for the acts of robbery committed in a group with escalation.

The two defendants are accused of breaking into SF Diouf's home to steal 600,000 FCFA, mobile phones, perfumes and other valuables.

According to the investigation, the suspected thieves used a ladder to access the balcony of the house before entering the home. After discovering that his belongings were missing, the victim filed a complaint with the police.

The investigations carried out by the detectives subsequently led to the arrest of A. Sarr and BM Ndiaye. Both men were remanded in custody as part of the ongoing legal proceedings.

In court, however, they rejected the accusations against them. The defendants maintained that the accusations were baseless, claiming in particular that they had not been seen at the time the robbery was committed.

They also stated that none of the allegedly stolen items had been found in their possession. In court, each maintained their position, denying any connection to the burglary.

At the end of the debates, the public prosecutor requested the application of the law.

The court finally acquitted the two defendants due to reasonable doubt.
