Équipe nationale d’Allemagne : Jürgen Klopp convoque 44 joueurs pour sa première sélection !
For his first match in charge of the German national team, Jürgen Klopp has decided to cast a wide net. The new German coach unveiled two lists on Thursday comprising a total of 44 players, with a clear intention to significantly revamp the squad.
Jürgen Klopp is wasting no time in making his mark as manager of the German national team. For his first squad selection, the former Liverpool coach surprised everyone by calling up 44 players divided into two separate groups.
The first group will be deployed for the matches against the Netherlands in Amsterdam and then against Greece in Augsburg. The second group will take part in the Nations League matches against Serbia in Munich and Greece in Thessaloniki.
This wide selection reflects the German manager's desire to explore several options and quickly expand his talent pool. Klopp has notably decided to give a chance to many young players who have never been called up before, or who remain relatively unknown to the general public.
New faces include goalkeepers Noah Atubolu and Jonas Urbig, as well as Finn Jeltsch, Max Rosenfelder, Mika Baur, Bambasé Conté, Said El Mala, Yannik Engelhardt, Brajan Gruda, Félix Keidel, Derry Scherhant and Younes Ebnoutalib.
With this first, particularly extensive squad list, Jürgen Klopp has clearly demonstrated his intention: to observe as many players as possible before gradually shaping his future team. A new era is thus dawning for the German national team, with several young talents poised to seize their opportunity under the guidance of the former Liverpool manager.
