FC Metz : le gardien Pape Sy prolonge, même son club n’a pas tenu une promesse
Senegalese goalkeeper Pape Sy has extended his contract with FC Metz. His previous contract, set to expire at the end of the current season, has been extended by two years. The 29-year-old "is therefore tied to the club with the Cross of Lorraine until June 2029," according to a statement from Metz, as reported by L'Équipe.
However, FC Metz has not kept its promise to its goalkeeper: Pape Sy was supposed to become the number one this season, but he remains on the bench. And for good reason. The starter, Jonathan Fischer, who was expected to be transferred, did not move as planned. The Senegalese goalkeeper will therefore have to be patient and wait for his competitor to leave, or dethrone him by seizing every opportunity to showcase his abilities.

Y a pas de promesse non tenue, le titulaire n'a juste pas bougé.
