Liga espagnole : Le Barça et Raphinha déroulent
Six matches, six victories: FC Barcelona continues its impressive start to the season. Led by its captain Raphinha, who scored a hat-trick (25th, 42nd and 67th minutes), Barça largely dominated Racing Santander, featuring Maquette Guèye (7-2). The young Senegalese striker did reduce the score for Santander, but the Catalans quickly responded.
João Cancelo (8th), Asier Villalibre own goal (36th), Raphinha three times, Gabriel Jesus (79th) and Lamine Yamal (89th) secured the big win for Barcelona.
The scoreline could have been even worse had Lamine Yamal been more clinical in front of goal. The Spanish prodigy missed a penalty in the 45th minute before hitting the post in the 51st. He also had a goal disallowed for offside.
With this latest victory, FC Barcelona remains firmly in first place in La Liga with 18 points out of a possible 18. The Catalan club now has a three-point lead over Real Madrid, who defeated Elche 3-2 on Tuesday.
