Ligue des nations : France-Belgique, Olise fait le show et les Bleus renversent les Diables Rouges
A week after their victory at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels, France once again confirmed their dominance over Belgium. Trailing at halftime, France overturned the deficit against Belgium (4-1) in the fourth round of Nations League matches. Starting on the bench once more, Michael Olise was the key player in Les Bleus' success.
The Belgians had taken the lead in the first half thanks to Lukebakio (35th minute), despite French dominance. Having struggled to find their rhythm for much of the game, Les Bleus were transformed after the introduction of Michael Olise, Rayan Cherki, and Da Cunha.
France finally equalized through Désiré Doué (77th minute), before Cherki gave his team the lead (81st minute) from a Michael Olise cross. The Bayern Munich player then bagged a brace (88th and 90+1 minutes) to seal a resounding 4-1 victory.
A spectacular comeback allowed Les Bleus (1st, 10 pts) to conclude the international break on a high note. In the other match in the group, Italy defeated Turkey (3-1).
