Air Sénégal et Air France scellent un partenariat stratégique étendu vers l'Europe et le Canada
Air Senegal SA has taken a decisive step in its intercontinental expansion. In an official statement released in Paris on June 22, 2026, the Senegalese national airline announced the strengthening of its interline agreement with Air France. This agreement now offers travelers new routes from Dakar to ten major European cities (Marseille, Lyon, Nice, Milan, Rome, Barcelona, Madrid, Geneva, London, and Frankfurt) as well as to two major destinations in Canada (Montreal and Toronto).
The agreement guarantees a seamless travel experience through a single booking and ticket that integrates flights from both carriers. Passengers will benefit from optimized continuity of journey, including full check-in for customers and their luggage all the way to their final destination.
To formalize this new dynamic, an official meeting was held on June 22, 2026, in the French capital. The CEO of Air Senegal, Tidiane Ndiaye, accompanied by his delegation, was received in audience by Benjamin Smith, Chairman and CEO of the Air France-KLM Group, and Anne Rigail, CEO of Air France.
This high-level meeting allowed the executives of both companies to review the various aspects of their cooperation. This strengthened partnership confirms Air Senegal's ambition to expand its network internationally, leveraging its strategic partner to connect Senegal to the rest of the world.
