Air Sénégal SA et Ethiopian Airlines renforcent leur partenariat stratégique grâce à un accord Codeshare
Dakar, June 17, 2026 - Air Senegal SA announces the implementation of a codeshare agreement with Ethiopian Airlines, a major step in strengthening African air connectivity and expanding the range of services offered to passengers of both companies.
This open-access agreement allows Air Sénégal SA to sell seats on Ethiopian Airlines flights without capacity limitations. The flights in question are available for purchase, and fares have already been integrated into the booking systems.
Thanks to this partnership, Air Sénégal SA will now be able to offer its customers connections operated by Ethiopian Airlines, particularly on the Dakar–Addis Ababa and Bamako–Addis Ababa routes, thus facilitating access to one of the continent's most important air hubs.
As part of the reciprocity of this agreement, Ethiopian Airlines will also market several flights operated by Air Senegal SA to strategic destinations in the regional and international network of the Senegalese company, including Abidjan, Banjul, Casablanca, Conakry, Sal (Cape Verde) and Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
Through this codeshare agreement, Air Senegal SA and Ethiopian Airlines are consolidating their position in the African market and contributing to the building of a more integrated, efficient and competitive continental air network.
“This partnership represents a significant strategic step forward for Air Senegal SA. It will allow our passengers to access an expanded network while strengthening the integration of African air transport, in line with our ambition to make Dakar a leading regional hub,” stated the General Management of Air Senegal SA.
