Ligne Paris-Dakar : Air France déploie 10 vols hebdomadaires et le wifi gratuit pour l'été 2026
As the peak season approaches, Air France is bolstering its service to the Senegalese capital. In a press release issued in Dakar on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, the French carrier announced a significant expansion of its services to the Senegalese market. From June 30 to August 31, 2026, Air France will operate up to ten flights per week between Paris and Blaise Diagne International Airport (AIBD), while also rolling out its new free, high-speed Wi-Fi service.
An increased Boeing 777 offering for the summer
To effectively meet the growing demand from travelers during the summer period, the French airline is adding three extra flights to its regular schedule between Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Dakar (DSS) airports. These enhanced services will be operated entirely by Boeing 777 aircraft.
The press release details a precise timetable for both directions of the line:
In the Paris-CDG – Dakar direction:
Flight AF0710 departs on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 23:20 for an arrival at 3:00 the following day.
Flight AF0718 is scheduled every day of the week with a departure at 4:50 p.m. and a scheduled landing at 8:35 p.m.
In the Dakar – Paris-CDG direction:
Flight AF0711 departs on Wednesdays, Fridays and Mondays at 06:45 and lands in Paris at 14:15.
Flight AF0719 departs every day (except Wednesday) at 23:10 for an arrival the following day at 06:30.
A second flight on Wednesday, under the number AF0719, leaves Dakar at 22:55 to land at 06:20 the next day.
Widespread availability of free and unlimited Wi-Fi on board thanks to Starlink
Alongside this increased capacity, Air France is continuing its technological upgrade for flights to Senegal. Initially announced for autumn 2024, the ultra-high-speed, low-latency internet connectivity service is now available on board. This service is based on a major partnership with Starlink, a global leader in the sector, which relies on a vast network of low-Earth orbit satellites.
This new service is available free of charge in all cabins. To use it, passengers simply need to log in to their Flying Blue account. Passengers who don't yet have this loyalty program can create one directly and free of charge on board in just a few clicks.
This high-speed connection allows passengers to stay in touch with loved ones, follow live world news, watch television, stream movies and series, or play online video games from their smartphones, tablets, and laptops. The system also offers the flexibility to connect multiple devices simultaneously for a single user. The group's stated goal is to equip its entire fleet by the end of 2026.
