Sokhna Aïda Diallo case in Touba: TikToker "Leukh Leukh" denies being wanted and promises to turn himself in

The TikToker "Leukh Leukh," targeted by an investigation following Sokhna Aïda Diallo's controversial visit to Serigne Sidy Mbacké, has broken his silence. During a live broadcast hosted by Zeynab Sankharé, the influencer denied being actively sought by investigators, while stating his willingness to respond to any summons from the Touba Research Brigade.

“I am not wanted and I can be reached by phone. I am telling you, I am currently somewhere attending a ceremony,” he declared, before adding: “If the authorities call me, I will go to Touba tomorrow to answer the investigators.”

"Leukh Leukh" also claims to have nothing to reproach himself for in the remarks he made. "I believe my statements are not serious enough to warrant being summoned to the gendarmerie," he said.

According to our sources, the research brigade (BR) of the Touba gendarmerie company made two arrests. Oumar Café Diagne, known as "Oumar Wass", was first apprehended by plainclothes investigators.

The latter reportedly implicated Serigne Saliou Mbaye, alias "Khelcom," who was himself arrested Saturday morning and taken away in an unmarked vehicle. Both men are currently being held at the Touba BR (Brigade de Recherches - Research Brigade) headquarters.

These arrests follow a complaint filed by members of the family of the Khalifa of Serigne Abdou Lahad Mbacké, after Serigne Sidy Mbacké allegedly faced criticism and discourteous remarks following his reception of the widow of Serigne Cheikh Béthio Thioune. Several TikTok users have reportedly been identified through videos posted on the platform.

As for "Leukh Leukh," despite his denials, he remains in the investigators' sights, who have located him outside of Touba. He risks arrest if he attempts to leave the country. Further arrests are expected as part of this investigation.
