Diplomatie : Guadeloupe-Sénégal, deux terres liées par l'histoire et la culture
In Dakar for a few days for diplomatic and cultural reasons, the president of the Guadeloupe Departmental Council, Guy Losbar, in office since July 2021, is charmed by the country of Teranga, Senegal, which he considers his second home.
When asked about his stay, he stated that he was there with his team in preparation for the Dakar-2026 Youth Olympic Games, to recharge his batteries while strengthening cultural and historical ties between the two nations.
In an interview with Seneweb, Guy Losbar expressed his wish for a direct air link between Dakar and Guadeloupe and the establishment of cultural centers that connect the two peoples.
