The National Low-Rent Housing Company (SN HLM) carried out a large-scale demarcation and marking operation this Wednesday on a 20-hectare plot of land it owns, located in Bambilor. This is lot B of Land Title No. 5396/R, which is currently subject to illegal occupation.

This initiative reflects the company's commitment to asserting its rights and preserving its land assets in the face of a recent surge in illegal occupations observed on several of its sites. "Since its creation in 1959, SN HLM's mission has been to provide housing and serviced plots of land in secure areas. However, for some time now, we have observed a rise in illegal occupations and haphazard construction, which jeopardizes our projects and, above all, the protection of the interests of our clients who invested their funds securely and with complete confidence," stated Aly Cissé, Secretary General of SN HLM.

He adds that it is this situation that has prompted management to want to recover all the sites concerned and to fight against what he calls "land banditry", in order to preserve the company's assets.
