Graduation 2026 du Groupe ISM : plus de 2 500 diplômés célébrés sous le signe de l'excellence
The Palais des Sports in Diamniadio vibrated this Saturday to the rhythm of academic grandeur during the graduation ceremony of the ISM Group for the class of 2026, marked by the graduation of nearly 2,500 Bachelor's, Master's and MBA graduates.
Held under the banner of excellence and patriotism, the ceremony paid tribute to the late Aboubacar Sedikhe Sy, chosen as the patron for this graduating class. ISM, with its strong regional presence in Thiès, Saint-Louis, Ziguinchor, and even beyond its borders, reaffirms its ambition: to make education a driver of continental transformation.
Speaking at the event, the Director General of the ISM Group, Abdou Diouf, emphasized the importance of the ceremony, which he described as "a significant moment for the institution." He also explained that the choice of the class's patron, the late founder and president of the SupdeCo Group, was based on the exceptional legacy he left to the world of education and entrepreneurship in Africa. "We wanted to offer his career as a model for our graduates so that they might be inspired by the values of rigor, perseverance, determination, and above all, patriotism for Africa that he embodied," he stated. He also praised his contribution to the training of numerous African leaders. "He was a man who contributed to the training of many African leaders, and we, as an educational institution, wanted to pay tribute to him so that his work would endure," he added.
Addressing the issue of graduate employability, the director general sought to reassure. According to him, the institution prepares students well before graduation through a program dedicated to their professional integration. "ISM graduates have no problem finding employment. We have implemented a system that already works on their employability. Being employable means being able to find a job or create one's own. This preparation begins even before graduation," he explained, before adding: "We have difficulty finding our alumni even within the school because they are people who know how to find employment or launch initiatives that allow them to become economically successful."
Among the distinguished award winners is Divine Olefa, a major in Big Data and Data Strategy. Visibly moved, she confided: "I want to thank my parents for all the support they give me. It hasn't been easy, but when you want something in life, you find a way to achieve it."
Another graduate of this class, Adja Thiaw Fall, who topped her class in Marketing and Communication, expressed her pride. "I am very proud, very happy. I thank my mother, my father, and also the ISM Group because I received the scholarship of excellence due to my baccalaureate results." She also praised the support of the teachers and administrative staff.
Regarding the Executive programs, Pama Alpha described his graduation as the culmination of a year of sacrifice and commitment. “It’s incredibly emotional. It’s the result of a year of dedication and selflessness.” Already pursuing a doctorate, he chose to enhance his business administration skills through this program. He also praised the quality of the teaching and support provided by the ISM Group.
The ceremony concluded in an atmosphere of pride and commitment, with the promise of a new generation of managers trained in the values of work and commitment to Africa.
