For several decades now, during the Grand Magal of Touba, Serigne Khadim Lô Gaydel Boroom Ndame, in Touba-Bakhdad, in the municipality of Thiès-Est, has been carrying out highly impactful social initiatives, following the philosophy of Bamba. His commitment to the influence of Mouridism is unparalleled.
These initiatives, carried out under the blessing of the General Khalif of the Mourides, Serigne Mountakha Bassirou Mbacké, in harmony with the path traced by Serigne Touba Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba Khadimou Rassoul, are in particular characterized by the traditional convoy, as a Hadiyya, of a large herd of cattle to Touba, the holy city, to the General Khalif of the Mourides.
The spokesperson for the marabout, delivering the message of his guide, recalled that the traditional Hadiyya "Naggou Serigne Touba" (Editor's note: the oxen of Serigne Mountakha), an important gesture of solidarity towards the general Khalif of the Mourides, for the needs of the Grand Magal, is a gigantic project initiated several years ago, which the religious guide intends to realize, in a sustainable way, with the commitment of his disciples.
